Undiscovered Weekly-Photomanipulation

Fri Apr 18, 2014, 10:43 PM

"Welcome to  Undiscovered Weekly for  Photomanipulation. Undiscovered Weekly is committed to spotlighting exceptional artists who have low  page views, and/or few watchers, and have been a deviant for three years or less.

Shedboy68, Rogerio33, TwilitesMuse, and are redemptari  included in this week's feature.  Information for this feature has been collected and presented by thefantasim.

Shedboy68, Nick Stone, is a photomanipulator from the United Kingdom. He believes that he's still a beginner, but you could not tell when you view his gallery that this is not true. His ability to paint on top of photos is quite exceptional,  and the themes he chooses run from emotional to fantasy. I feel that everything he does are not simply photomanipulations, but beautiful works of art.

Rogerio33 has only been at deviantART for one month, and he currently only has eleven deviations in his gallery, but those eleven images are worth viewing. His photomanipulations are very whimsical, and others are more scientific or emotional. Rogerio33 hails
from Belgium.

TwilitesMuse is Joslyn Winters. She lives in the United States. and has a a passion for both photography as well as photomanipulation. She has been a deviant for 3 years and has been very prolic, sumbitting over 800 deviations to her gallery. The themes she mostly likes are very opposite from her other running from fantasy to dark.

redemptari is a 20 year old student from the United Kingdom. She creates on Photoshop with a style that imitates digital painting, i.e., the fur on the wolves and the grass on the ground have a realistic appearance. Although she manips other subjects, wolves are very special to her. She even creates images of cross animals, or "sea-wolves" which is different from the norm. If you appreciate photomanipulations that features animals, you'll enjoy her gallery of wolves.<div wytiwyg="1" align="center'>

Good morning/afternoon/evening~ :iconarigatouplz:

Just a little awareness, there are a lot of Filipinos here in deviantart, too...
groups like these~~> :iconda-pinoys: :iconstudio-pinoy: :iconpinoyunderdogs: :icondevpinoys: :iconda-philippines: :iconphilippines: and :iconpinoyphotography: to name a few...

It's about the situation here in the Philippines, concerning the Typhoon Haiyan ("Yolanda" in the Philippines), where at most, CNN, BBC, Reuters, news around the world already have reported about Haiyan, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded, with wind speeds exceeding 300kph.
The situation in the Visayas (the middle peninsula of the Philippines) is very much dire in the wake of the typhoon, and the aftermath was and is tragic beyond words...

At most, I'm appealing to "FellAwareness" to at least, let the other deviants be aware of the situation of this country. I remembered the FellAwareness during Japan's tsunami and earthquake disaster.

Thus, I am appealing for the FellAwareness for this dreadful situation for here in dA...
As much, around 1700+ are confirmed dead, and almost 10,000 people were estimated to have died, and even with the CNN, BBC, and other world networks combined are still not enough to get the entire picture of this situation, as communications are down in most areas. The death toll is just one of the things in consideration. Those who lived through the storm are dying, and surviving, struggling to be alive. Out of water, food, diseases spreading, mental stress and trauma, well the number of reasons are stockpiling.

But as much, I only appeal for the least even here in dA, people would be aware of this country that got devastated by one of the most powerful storms in history.

Hopefully awaiting for your response, thank you very much. :iconarigatouplz:

Hey there, Fella.

I made this today and I was wondering if you like this idea or not? This is just a What-If.

Looks snazzy. :D

But you know dA holds several official and unofficial deviantMEETS every year and even participates in some of the large conventions around the globe, right? :o

Oh...Well, Yeah.

But this is just a What If. ^^;

It's not a bad idea. dA is certainly big enough to hold its own official convention without having to share with other places. :o

Your mission is admirable.
Anything that you can do to raise the level
of deviousness/seriousness is a good thing.
Regrets though, time is at a premium for some people.
I would volunteer  if I knew I would have time.
I volunteered once in my life.
In the Army, no less. I was handsomely rewarded - truly.
I better not push my luck.
I repeat, your mission is admirable.
