Edit: We would like to thank you all for your support for this. We have added all deviations posted so far to the journal below
Due to time constraints as well as maximum thumbs being allowed in journals, we would like to suggest that deviants who would like to see more of the art than what is posted in this journal should check out the comments below!
In addition, a newly found video was released this morning as estimates of final possible death toll could rise as high as 10,000 dead...

10K dead in Japan amid fears of nuclear meltdowns from Associated Press
As many of you already may know earlier this morning a 8.9 Magnitude Earthquake struck just off the coast of Japan. This earthquake was one of the top 10 strongest earthquakes ever recorded and one of the most severe in the last century.
The death toll has already risen to more than 300 dead.
In an effort to help support those who are now homeless, injured, or who may become sick we at #fella would like to help get the word out about this tragedy and ways that you can help! #fella has come up with a Project we need your support on!
We would like your help! If every deviant could contribute even 1 penny (that's $00.01) to help Japan there would be $160,000 dollars raised! Now as not everyone can afford to donate, we wanted to use this community of artists to help in another way!
We want you to go out and make a piece of art and link back to this journal suggesting that others do the same and pledge support for those in need.
This piece of art may feature fella, but is not required to.
Once you have completed this piece, just link to this journal in the artists comments suggesting that others help support the cause.
Together as a community we can help Japan recover from this natural disaster.
So what to do again:
1. Make a piece of art (it can be anything you want)
2. Upload it to dA
3. In the artists comments leave a note that links back to this journal and suggests that others create a piece of art and/or help donate to groups such as the Red Cross to help those in need
4. Then show us by commenting belowThe Red Cross has already begun a fund and you can donate by clicking the donate image below.

or:

There are other ways to donate that can be found here
Thank you for your kindness and help.

Dear people of the world.
Dear People of the world,
Japan as most of you know have been hit by a 8.9 [a really big] earthquake and then to add pepper and salt to the wound by a massive tidal wave. In the midst of this disaster , many people have lost their lives, many have been injured, and those who aren't physically damaged are seriously traumatized by this incident.
Now I may not know much about you , or your situation but I know that if something so catastrophic were to happen to you, then all other countries and sympathetic people would find it in their hearts to help you.
So I'm asking you, from the bottom of your hearts to reach out to

Tsunami
Tsunami:
It came in, like roaring thunder.
The ground quaked before us.
We ran,
we ran.
The wave grew to great heights,
it moved closer to the shore.
We ran,
we ran.
As the wave grew closer still,
we saw our doom upon us.
Some stopped,
we ran.
The warning siren deafened us all,
some of us saw the hall.
We cried,
we cried.
We could see our ancestors clearly,
we could see our death clearly.
We knew,
we knew.
Then the wave hit our land,
our buildings went up in flames.
The end,
the end.
We thought there was no help,
we thought we would all die.
But wait,
but wait.
The charitable hearts of the people,

Pray for Japan
So many lives where lost today and that is because of natural disasters; it makes us wonder .. you know, "hows my family" and "are they ok right now?" . The sad thing is, japan lost some of its family. The coast of Japan got hit by a Tsunami and 300+ lost their lives.
.. heh , to think that when those peoples families try to phone them and see if they're alright, and they don't answer .. imagine how heart broken they are .. my heart honestly goes out to all that have experienced that, specially Japan. Losing someone or a group of close friends/family is really hard. Its a tough process to handle. To think that somewhere, someone is not an
